Carnation is a rural community in the lower Snoqualmie Valley near the confluence of the Snoqualmie and Tolt Rivers. Originally named Tolt (from the Snoqualmie Indian name "Tolthue"), it was later renamed for the world famous Carnation Dairy. The farms in the valley are now framed near other opportunities such as golfing, fishing, biking, river rafting, relaxing in the parks or hiking the 31.5 mile Snoqualmie Valley Trail.
