The Valley cradles lakes named Alice, Brewster, Fury and Rattlesnake. The Valley's major river is the Snoqualmie. Originating in the Cascade Mountains, its North, Middle and South Forks flow together on The Valley floor between the towns of North Bend and Snoqualmie, swelling to form the mighty river which crashes over Snoqualmie Falls and then at Fall City is joined by the Raging River. The ever-widening Snoqualmie then meanders the length of The Valley and absorbs the Tolt River at Carnation before merging with the Skykomish River in Monroe to form the Snohomish River.
